Most of the tools and advice out there were designed for big organisations. They assume you have a sustainability manager, a budget in the thousands and weeks to spare. Most small firms have none of those, yet they often have a better story to tell than they realise.

• We base factual statements on primary sources such as GOV.UK, UKRI, EFRAG and the GHG Protocol, and link to them.
• We date every guide and review guides when rules, schemes or conversion factors change.
• Grant schemes and lending products change often. We name examples to help you understand what to expect, and always suggest checking the latest details with the provider.
